The stamp on this page is dated August 7, 2008, but is incorrect. I stamped the page before it was changed on the morning of August 8, 2008.
This sketch was a result of construction on the Going To The Sun road before eight am that morning. Construction crews removed a rock about the size of a dump truck and I had 30 minutes to sketch in a place where the road usually does not stop.
The Trail of the Cedars at the Avalanche Creek area in Glacier National Park is a beautiful walk. The Avalanche Creek runs through the area and I had a chance last week to sit and sketch in this wonderful area. I got more stamps too, including one from the post office down the road.
The hibiscus pattern incorporated into the Sketching Spirit Logo. You can download a larger version (1025x768) to use as desktop wallpaper right here on the sketchingspirit blog. Look for the Free Stuff note and enjoy!
