My sketchbook class spent some time at the grocery store sketching the other day. As usual I sketched along side the group and captured these beets in the produce section. If you are wondering, the answer is no, I wouldn't eat these, but they are a lot of fun to sketch!
My sketchbook class is well underway this semester. In between teaching and visiting with the students about their sketchbooks, I have a chance to sketch. This page is from a visit to Trader's Coffee and Tea and an eagle image from a postal cancellation mark. The latter was fun to do and I managed to take a flat contour line drawing and give it a three-dimensional appearance.
This landscape sketch was done while sitting in the parking lot at the Moraine Park Visitor's Center/Museum at Rocky Mountain National Park. It was raining and I did this over the course of about an hour while sitting in my car.
