New Sketchbook (#40) & New Project

This was done in my newest sketchbook, a Japanese Red Maruman sketchbook. The paper is really nice and I decided to do a grid drawing using a storyboard format [film (widescreen 1.85.1 / .825” x .446” aspect ratio)] in this book. This is a work in progress based off a photograph I took last January during my trip to New York. More to come...

Swinging At AIDS Poster

Calling all golfers!! The United Methodist Churches of the Grand Valley, along with the Center for the Church and Global AIDS, invite you to be a part of “Swinging At AIDS”, a charity Golf Tournament and Silent Auction.

The Tournament will take place at the Redlands Mesa Golf Course on Friday, May 14, 2010 beginning at 8:00 AM. Registration fees are $135.00 for a single player and $500.00 for a team of four. This is a Best-Ball Tournament so people with varied abilities can play. There will be a scattered shotgun start.

Join in the fun! There will be an opportunity at one of the holes to win a brand new car for a hole in one. Mulligans will be available for those needing a little extra help.

This is a wonderful way for the Grand Valley to partner together to help the victims of AIDS in Kenya, as well as within our own community. This event will help send supplies and equipment to the Maua Hospital, one of the poorest in Kenya. Funds will also go to help those with HIV/AIDS through the Western Colorado AIDS Project in our own community. To help out or register click here.
