As most artists do, I find bits and pieces of paper that have images on them and that I am enamored with for reasons unknown. For years, I collected them in a folders or little piles on my desk, not knowing what to do with them for the most part. Until I started pasting them in my sketchbooks.
This time I decided to cut them into little circles and create a composition in my sketchbook and thus... Composition of Nine was born. The paper circles here are from packages of food products I ate (they were tasty), junk mail, magazine adverts and posters I found around the art building at work.
