Then I added color with some light to mid-value hues using watercolor.

a beginning...

I have started a new series this year based on images from google map satellite photos. This is the first of that series and is a simple pencil sketch of a location in Craig, Colorado. This particular location gets a lot of snow in the winter and has some very colorful metal roof tops that are fun to paint. More to come...
