Monumental Majesty

The Daily Sentinel, the local newspaper here in Grand Junction, Colorado has published a book in honor of the Colorado National Monument's 100th Anniversary. It features photography and artwork by local artists. I am excited to be a part of this publication with one of my sketches and an illustration of the Lithariapteryx abroniaeella (Disco Moth). Mail Me Art Medium Without a Message

Last year I participated in the Mail Me Art project along with four of my illustration students. All of the pieces were a part of the London exhibit last summer and I am happy to say that all of us were published in the latest Mail Me Art book! Faber-Castell Web Gallery

The official Faber-Castell web gallery showcases artists who use their products and includes two of my sketches. The screen capture here features the Rockefeller Plaza sketch I posted earlier this year. My Madison Avenue & 86TH ST sketch is on the site as well.

The official Moleskine company website launched a redesigned site recently and users can submit artwork to their gallery. You can see one of my recent pages there in the gallery that showcases artists who use the Moleskine products.

1000 Artist Journal Pages

Yep. I'm published. This book came out in the summer and has six pages in it from my trip to Italy, Kenya and one done right here at home in Grand Junction, Colorado. I am honored to be included in such a publication with many peers.

This is a spread from the 1000 Artist Journal Pages book. The text has six pages total and you can see four of them here on the left page. The top one is filled with sketches I did in the Johnson Art Gallery at Mesa State College, Grand Junction, Colorado. The bottom one is a sketch I did over the course of several days in Terni, Italy of the LaRomita Chapel at the LaRomita School of Art.
