This is my submission to the Mail Me Art: Open All Hours for Book #4 by Darren Di Lieto of The Little Chimp Society. 

Sketchbook #56 Page 30 and 31

I finished up this sketchbook with one last sketch of Lower Falls from Look Out Point at the North Rim in Yellowstone National Park.

The top sketch is some trees at West Thumb and the bottom sketch is Liberty Cap in front of the Terraces at the Mammoth area.

Sketchbook #56 Page 22 and 23

The top sketch was drawn from a bunkhouse window at Lamar Buffalo Ranch. I didn't have time to finish it so I just painted the cottonwood trees that are so distinctive across the road. The bottom sketch was created after hiking down underneath the Yellowstone bridge and sitting under the shade of the bridge next to the Yellowstone River.

Studies in the Tetons

I headed home from this first trip and went south through Grand Teton National Park.

My Favorite Sketching Spot & Me

This is what I look like while sketching at one of my favorite places on the planet to sit and sketch! And that would be Lower Falls from Look Out Point at the North Rim in Yellowstone National Park.
